Team and seats

PulseSignal workspaces are built for teams: one shared watchlist, one billing relationship, and a seat for each teammate. This page covers seat caps per plan, how invitations work end to end, and what roles exist.

01

Seats by plan

Seats are included in the plan price; there is no per-seat charge. The caps are:

PlanTeam members
Starter1
Pro5
Business15
Scale50

Both current members and pending invitations count toward the cap, so an unaccepted invite holds a seat until it is accepted or expires. Need more than 50? Talk to us about Scale+ pricing via hello@pulsesignal.co.

02

Inviting teammates

Owners and admins can invite from Settings → Team. Enter the teammate’s email address and send the invite; they receive an email with a link to join your workspace. The Team page lists pending invitations alongside their expiry date, so you can see who has not accepted yet.

On Scale, where role-based access control is enabled, you pick the role (admin, editor, or viewer) at invite time. On other plans there is no role picker and invited teammates join with the default editor role.

03

Accepting an invite

The invitee clicks the link in the invitation email and creates their own account with their own credentials, the same signup flow as everyone else. There is no separate payment step and nothing to configure: the seat is already part of your workspace’s plan, and they land in the shared workspace as soon as the account is created.

Invitations expire, so if a teammate waited too long, just send a fresh invite from the same page.

04

Roles

Every member of a workspace carries one of four roles:

  • Owner: the account that created the workspace. The owner cannot be removed, and the owner’s role cannot be reassigned from the Team page.
  • Admin: can invite and remove members, like the owner.
  • Editor: the default role for invited teammates.
  • Viewer: a read-oriented role available where role-based access control is enabled.

Choosing roles at invite time and changing an existing member’s role are part of role-based access control, available on Scale. On other plans each member’s role is shown as a badge on the Team page but is not editable there.

05

What teammates share

Teammates share the workspace: the workspace watchlist is shared with every seat, so a company added by one person is monitored for everyone, and plan limits (tracked companies, history, exports, API quota) apply to the workspace as a whole. The personal section of the watchlist is yours only.

Billing stays with the workspace, not the individual: one subscription covers every seat, managed from Settings → Billing.

06

Managing members and seats

Owners and admins can remove a member from the Team page at any time (with an inline confirmation); removing a member frees the seat immediately. If you hit your plan’s seat cap, the invite form tells you so and offers the next tier: Pro moves you from 1 to 5 seats, Business to 15, Scale to 50. Compare tiers on the pricing page.
